“Anyone Can Win” Contest
- Open only to ASG members and anyone age 18 and under who is sponsored by an ASG member
- Submit your entry online (if you don’t know the password to the members-only section of ASG.org, contact webmaster@asghouston.org)
- No limit on the number of entries per person
- The deadline is midnight EDT, July 25, 2012
- Four winners will be chosen at random
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Simplicity ASG pattern collection. To celebrate, we’ve created a special “Anyone Can Win” event open only to ASG members and anyone age 18 and under who is sponsored by an ASG member. (Open to U.S. residents only.)
To enter, make all or part of any of the ASG patterns from Simplicity. Take a digital photo of your creation and then go to the Members Only section of www.asg.org. Click on the Contest 2012 banner, fill out the entry form, and follow the easy instructions to upload your photo. That’s it! The deadline is midnight EDT, July 25, 2012.
Making more than one garment? Go ahead and enter each garment. There is no limit on the number of entries per person. The more times you enter, the greater your chances of winning!
Four winners will be chosen electronically at random—two ASG members and two from the “18 and under” category. The first ASG member selected will receive a Singer Futura XL-400 sewing and embroidery machine; the second ASG member will receive a Gütermann Sew-All polyester thread cabinet. The first person “18 and under” selected will receive a $100 shopping spree on www.nancysnotions.com; the second person will receive a $50 shopping spree. Both 18-and-unders will also receive copies of “Singer New Sewing Essentials” and “Singer Simple Sewing” from Creative Publishing International.
Once the winners have been selected, we will post an online gallery of all the submissions—a virtual fashion show for your enjoyment!
